We received a very generous donation of 18 blankets from Mandela Truckers, which we in turn handed over to one of our project locations, Charltan SafeHouse. We also provided groceries put together by our Msasians.
Charltan houses 14 mothers and their babies, with the mothers’ ages ranging from 13 to 20 years, and all the babies are under 2yrs.
A few months ago we ran a Bonanza raffle and from those proceeds, we bought sewing machines, baking accessories, and a massive stove for Charltan Safehouse.
Charlene who runs the home together with the residents expressed their gratitude and told us how these donations are life-changing for them.
