Another project that the Rotary Club of Msasa is pursuing is the renovation of the Daramombe Mission Clinic in Chivhu.
Daramombe Mission; which comprises a High school, Primary School, and a Mission Clinic, was established in 1939 by missionaries from England, including Rev Tony Shaw. It falls under the Anglican Church, Diocese of Masvingo. The Mission is located in Chikomba District, in Mashonaland East Province; about 200 km south of Harare. It sits at the border with the Buhera District of Manicaland Province. It therefore caters to patients from both the Chikomba and Buhera Districts.

The clinic caters for an average of 555 patients per month. These comprise 55 primary school children; 130 high school students; 80 mission staff members and dependents; 170 local females and 120 male locals. The clinic also accounts for an average of 5 childbirths per month.

Nearby clinics are Bvumbura (9km) Mwerahari (16km) Tanda (16km) and Gokomere (13km) These clinics are much smaller facilities, and so most people prefer to come to Daramombe Clinic. Clinic offers free service no user fee payment hence no source of income to run the clinic and hence the demand for the services is very high. It therefore has to rely on donations and assistance from the responsible authority.

Apart from being a very old and rather dilapidated facility, the clinic needs a reliable water supply, a backup solar system, modern equipment, and a general revamp of the whole infrastructure. In light of the above challenges, the Rotary Club of Msasa has taken it upon itself, to work with willing partners, to mobilize resources and give the clinic a much-needed facelift.
